Plain-language summary: amble stores everything on your iPhone. It does not send your data anywhere, does not use analytics or ad trackers, and does not have accounts or servers that hold your information. The sections below say the same thing in the formal terms Apple and the law expect.

Who we are

amble ("amble", "we", "us") is an iOS app that helps you plan your day. This policy explains what data the app touches and how.

The short version

amble is on-device by design. Your plans, systems, notes, and any health signals amble reads stay in the app's private storage on your device. We do not operate servers that receive your personal data, we do not sell or share it, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

Data amble uses, and where it stays

What you create (tasks, systems, day-arcs, notes) — stored locally on your device only.
Calendar — read on-device, with your permission, so events appear on your day-line. Never uploaded.
Apple Health data (sleep, heart-rate variability, completed workouts) — read on-device, with your permission, only to gently adjust your day. It is never sold, never used for advertising, never shared, and never leaves your device. You can revoke Health access at any time in iOS Settings.
Location & focus status — if you grant them, used only on-device to populate your timeline. Not uploaded.
Microphone / speech — if you use voice input, it is transcribed on your device and not sent to a server.
Camera & photos — if you attach a photo to a reminder (a pill bottle, a packed bag), it is captured and stored in the app on your device only. Never uploaded.

On-device AI

amble's assistant runs entirely on your iPhone. The first time you use it, the app downloads a small open-weights language model (Qwen3) from Hugging Face and then runs it locally. That one-time download fetches only the model files — nothing you type, and none of your personal data, is sent to Hugging Face or anywhere else. After the model is downloaded, the assistant works fully offline. See acknowledgements for the model and its license.

What we do not do

No accounts, logins, or passwords — there is nothing for us to store about you.
No third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
No selling, renting, or sharing of your personal data with anyone.

Payments

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. amble never sees or stores your payment details. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Your rights

Because your data lives on your device, you are in control of it. You can export it or delete everything from within the app at any time. Deleting the app removes its data from your device.

Children

amble is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
